Bosco Ntaganda
Bosco Ntaganda, also known as ‘The Terminator’ was born in 1973
in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He is currently the Military Chief of Staff of the National Congress for the Defense of the People, which is an armed militia group in the North Kivuprovince. As a soldier in the Rwandan Patriotic Army, he helped overthrow the Genocidal Rwandan regime in 1994. He also joined the Patriotic Forces for the Liberation of Congo. During this time it is said that he was allegedly involved in numerous massacres and other serious human rights abuses, giving him his nickname ‘The Terminator’. In January 2005 he was appointed General of the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo, but refused the offer. In 2006 he joined Laurent Nkunda’s National Congress for the Defense of the People. He has contributed in murders of innocent civilians and has worked with an organization that fights against the opposing groups, causing many fights.
