This website provided many high quality pictures as well as small captions for each picture. It also provided a small amount of information on the refugees of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The page has some of the best pictures I have found relating to Congo, however it is rather long making it hard to slowly scroll through the pictures.
Child Soldiers in the DRC-
This website had much information on child soldiers around the world. It provided information on child soldiers from several different countries including the Democratic Republic of Congo. The site is easy to navigate and inviting to people.
Sexual Violence in the DRC-
This website provided excellent information on the sexual violence going on in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The tabs made it easy to navigate and it also had sources for all of its information. It even went on to include a primary source of a sexual violence crimes that had occurred.
Timeline of Congo's History-
This website provided a detailed explanation of the conflicts in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It had some pictures and also had tabs linking to conflicts going on in other countries. I felt the website was slightly harder to navigate then some of the other sites I have looked, and it also had some long web pages.
Genocide in Congo-
This website provided a lot of information on the genocide that occurred in Rwanda. It also had links to videos and photos, as well information on some other interesting events. It was easy to navigate, and it was updated often on recent events. It was somewhat bland not actually providing photos or videos on the same pages as the information.
Mobutu Sese Seko and Joseph Kasavubu Biography-
This website gave an abundance of details on Mobutu Sese Seko and Joseph Kasavubu, from birth and death dates to their acheivments in life. If providied multiple pages of information for both people, and the information was clear, organized and easy to find. A picture of each person was also supplied.
Joseph Kabila's Inaugaration Speech-
This website provided Joseph's entire speech, and it even gave a good analysis of the speech. In addition, it divided the speech up into different parts based on what that part of the speech was talking about, so you can find a certain part of it really easliy. Famous quotes said by Joseph were added to the website, too.
Patrice Lumumba Biography-
This was one of the best websites. It included a vast amount of organizaed information based on most of Lumumba's life. It had a biography of his life, some of his most important speechs with analysis, countless photos of him, and pages with information about his death and who killed him. The inforamtion was organized on a number of pages, making it easy to get to and easy to read.
Laurent Disire Kabila Biography-
This website had a good amount of information of Laurent Kabila, even though it's difficult to find out information about him. The information was good and supported, and was organized. This made it easy to search through the information.
Lumumba's Independent Day Speech-
This website provided the whole Independent Speech of Lumumba, with pictures and quotes of him as well. At the beginning it provided an insteresting picture of Lumumba, in which his face was in the shape of Africa, representing his leadership in Africa. THere were also links to other website with information on Lumumba that you could visit.
